A Day in the Life of a Wagging Tails Pet Resort Guest

6AM: 
Rise and shine!  Staff arrives and our boarding guests are let out for their first potty break.  At this time, a DCA makes everyone’s bed and prepares breakfast.

7AM:
Boarding guests are escorted back to their suites by a DCA to eat their breakfast. The DCA’s then turn on special music to help all of our guests relax and eat in peace. This is also when the Lead DCA distributes any medications and makes sure all of our guests are eating well.**

8AM:
Both daycare and boarding guests are taken by the DCA’s to their appropriate play areas for their morning potty time and playtime!  This is when the guests really get to let their tails wag, not to mention is spoiled by our DCAs’.  They get to play with the resort toys and be involved in stimulating games of who can sit first!

11:30ishAM:
All of our guests are escorted to their suites by a DCA for lunchtime snacks and naps.  Staff puts on their special naptime music.  At this time, the Lead checks on each guest to make sure that all guests are comfortably enjoying their naptime.  This is also when the Lead DCA distributes any medications and makes sure all of our guests are eating well.**

1:30PM:
All DCA’s take all of the dogs back out for their afternoon play session and of course to go potty after naptime.  This is a very exciting time for our guests; they get to have two people in their playroom to acclimate them into the afternoon playtime. 

4:15ishPM:
After making sure all of our guests’ meals are properly prepared, the DCA’s then escort our boarding guests to their suites for dinner.  All of our Daycare guests remain in the play areas with a DCA until it is their turn to go home.  At this time, the Lead checks on each guest to make sure that all guests are comfortably enjoying their naptime.  This is also when the Lead DCA distributes any medications and makes sure all of our guests are eating well.**

7PM:
The DCAs escort all the boarding guests back out to the play areas for their last potty break and play time for the night. At this time, a DCA is going around to everyone’s suites checking water and giving every guest their bedtime snack.

8PM:
All of our overnight guests are then escorted back to their suites and tucked in for bed.  The Lead DCA makes sure that every guest is tucked and comfortable for the night.  Before the DCAs leave for the night, they put on our special bedtime CD to soothe them into a deep slumber.

**If a guest in our care is not eating well, we then add them to our Special Feeding list.  This means that a DCA is checking on this dog during each naptime and going in to sit with them to help get them to eat.
