Tail Waggers of the Month

Meet Sampson & Mia!

Bloomington Tail Wagger

Sampson september tail waggerSampson is a 1-1/2-year-old mystery mix who found his forever home with the Bausch family in Minnesota after being rescued from Arkansas.

This energetic and excitable youngster loves chasing bunnies, basking in the sun, playing Frisbee, and making new friends. His enthusiasm is uncontainable. In fact, he does more than wag his tail, he wags his entire body like a slinky dog!

Sam loves disemboweling stuffed toys and getting away with things because he’s so cute. He’s a good chewer and loves to chew on his bones and Nyla toys when they’re given – and on shoes if they aren’t! Like many dogs, he likes routine and never needs a leash for the car or when he spends time with his human mom and dad at their workplaces. He also waits patiently until his blanket is spread out on the bed before jumping in. Sam enjoys playing with his friends at doggie daycare, but he loves his family best. He’ll grab their arm with his paws to get their attention and loves snuggling after a fun-filled day away at WTPR.

The best part about having Sampson in their family? “Sam can always cheer you up,” they tell us, “His energy and unconditional love always reminds you that life is good.”

Eagan Tail Wagger

mia september tail wagger eaganMia Warren is a 4-year-old Mal-Shi who has been coming to Wagging Tails since she was a puppy. The Mal-Shi is a cross between the Maltese and Shih Tzu and are known for being affectionate, smart, playful, independent, and lovable.

Mia adores being the center of attention and being treated like a princess. Her human mom, Medina, loves to spoil her little diva at home and the WTPR staff take over during her doggie daycare visits! Mia loves everything and everybody and always shows it, even making startling screams of joy when she sees her favorite staff members.

How does Mia like to spend her Playdays? One of her favorite things to do is visit the front desk staff and nap on the counters while they work.

When asked the best part of having Mia in her life, Medina told us, “She is her mom’s best friend. Always makes me happy to come home to her after a long day at work. She makes my whole life complete.”
