Meet Shadow and Bramble!

Bloomington Tail Wagger of the Month

One-year-old Shadow has been coming to our Bloomington location since last December when he was just a young pup. This joyful miniature golden retriever loves to play with his friends at The Resort, especially Curry, another miniature golden retriever!

A fun and loving dog, Shadow gets incredibly excited when he meets new people. In fact, he thinks he’s a small lap dog and likes to jump up and sit on them! He’s also incredibly smart, learning new tricks quickly, but really enjoys his favorite game most – grabbing something and playing “keep away” from his humans!

Not only is Shadow big on smarts, but he is also incredibly intuitive, understanding when his owner is sad and tries to help.

What’s the best part of having Shadow in their family? “Having a very loyal companion to play with, cuddle with, and love,” owners Maria and Robert tell us.

Eagan Tail Wagger of the Month

Our Eagan Tail Wagger is a little mover and shaker, 5-1/2-year-old Bramble! Watchful and curious, this cairn terrier loves to be outside and keep an eye on the neighborhood where she finds everything interesting.

Bramble is a chatty little girl who likes to keep her owner Jan informed of everything she sees: squirrels, rabbits, trucks, buses, crows, and much, much more.

She’s merry, alert, and confident, but also patient and quiet with children if they want to pet her. And she’s also an observant companion who pays attention to routines, Jan tells us that Bramble can figure out where she’s going based on her hand lotion!

Jan says that Bramble’s attitude and intelligence make her extra special; she even assumes that all mail carriers are “her” mail carrier and expects a treat from them!

What’s the best part of having this little cairn terrier in her family? “Just being with or watching Bramble makes me happy,” Jan told us.
