Wagging Tails Pet Resort Participation Guidelines

Overnight Reservations & Cancellations

Reservations are required prior to check-in. All boarding reservations require a 15% Reservation Deposit at the time of booking. Seven-day advance notice of cancellation is required for a refund.

Holiday “Peak” Pricing Periods

During holidays and periods of peak capacity, Holiday/Peak Pricing is in effect for overnight (boarding) reservations ($84/night luxury, $69/night standard suite):

Holiday weeks & weekends include Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Year’s, the entire month of March, and MEA week (in October).

Playday Reservations & Cancellations

Reservations are required prior to check-in. 24-hour advance notice of cancellation is required via the online portal, email, or phone. Reservations not canceled within this timeframe will be subject to the Late Cancellation/No-Show Reservation Fee and will be charged $20. Unoccupied reservations reduce total resort capacity, which may impact another guest’s ability to book their dog’s reservation. We appreciate your consideration!

Please note that during holidays and other periods of peak capacity, Playday reservations may be limited.

Assessment and Evaluation

Every dog must complete a Temperament Assessment and Evaluation before becoming a guest at the resort. Assessments are free of charge and are conducted during Resort Enrollment Periods in January, February, April, June, August, and October 2024.

Temperament

For the safety of all our guests, Wagging Tails Pet Resort does not accept dogs with aggressive or anti-social tendencies, or dogs that actively jump our fences.

Flea Control

All dogs must be on flea prevention from May thru November each year.

Health

All dogs must be in good health. No coughing, vomiting or diarrhea 48 hours prior to arrival at the facility. On admission, all dogs must be free from any communicable condition. Dogs that have been ill with or exposed to a communicable condition require veterinarian certification of health prior to admittance to the resort.

Vaccinations

We require vaccinations for all dogs who attend the resort. These vaccinations include Bordatella, Rabies and Distemper/Parvo (D/H/L/P). It is the dog owner’s responsibility to maintain current vaccinations.

Spay and Neuter

Dogs staying with us must be spayed or neutered by the age of 6 months. (Unaltered dogs destabilize the pack, and are at greater risk for injury by other dogs.)
